“You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today – and then one day you find ten years have got behind you.” – Pink Floyd, “Time”
Happy Holidays from One Cell One Light Radio! This week, Dr. Staninger has two seemingly incongruous discussions about our most precious – and unrenewable – resource: time.
HOUR 1 AUDIO: Kirk Moser – “I’m Not Available for That”
In the first hour, Dr. Hildy welcomes special guest Kirk Mosher, Vice President of a large Silicon Valley corporation as he discusses his marketing strategy entitled “I’m Not Available For That!”
Kirk Mosher started his career at Apple Computer over 25 years ago and is now VP of Marketing for a Large Silicon Valley Software Company. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Berkeley, a Masters in Business from Stanford, and is a recognized speaker on digital commerce and customer experience.
Personally, Kirk is an aspiring author, motivational speaker and has always been interested in the spiritual side of our lives and why we are here in the first place. Being keenly aware of the transformations taking place at the subtle levels in our world today, he has developed a holistic view of how the mind, body and spirit integrate into that which we call life..
HOUR 2 AUDIO:
The Befana and The Bassano Romano
In the second hour, Dr. Staninger and Shoshanna Allison will discuss the Bassano Romano System, a creation of Dr. Staninger’s. Dr. Hildy’s Bassano Romano System combines two of the Baci Mi™ products, so one will experience the benefits of synergistically allowing your ancient SIRT1 genes to open and unfold. The SIRT1 gene is responsible for life expectancy and having a long life and increasing cellular divisions by enhancing the cells ability to produce the enzyme telomerase.
As discussed on the November 9th show, scientists believe that our lifespan is also determined genetically, but can potentially be extended with the enzyme telomerase. The presence of this enzyme, dividing cells – ones that are responsible for deterioration and therefore aging – can replace lost bits of DNA, and any single cell can then divide unbounded, effectively making telomerase an anti-aging therapy.
The Bassano Romano Blend is composed of resveratrol (a polyphenol found in red wine), bay leaf, Solomon seal root, oregano, quercetin, ginger, spearmint and thyme. Resveratrol appears to activate enzymes called sirtuins, which exist in our cells but tend to become less active in midlife. These enzymes regulate chemical processes that help keep our bodies functioning and allow the cells not to have premature aging properties from exposure to toxic agents. The sirtuins have been found by scientists to increase DNA repair, promote cell survival, increase fat burning processes and aid in glucose metabolism. By activating the sirtuin SIRT1 gene, the body is thinking that it is increasing its body regulation processes. The combination of SIRT1 gene and telomerase activation processes allows one to turn back time as it rewinds the aging process, re-growing hair, thickening skin texture and allowing you to look more youthful and not like a wrinkled prune, thereby acting as the natural supplement equivalent of Oracle’s software!
Join Dr. Staninger and her guests this week as they discuss time saving practices both literal and figurative on One Cell One Light Radio!

September 7, 2011: “The Attic Door” movie and Chac Mool Natural Minerals and Medicinal Plants of Mesoamerica
The first hour of One Cell One Light™ Radio will feature Dr. Staninger talking with the filmmakers behind the movie, The Attic Door. Filmed in Utah for a budget of less than a quarter-million dollars, The Attic Door tells the story of a young brother and sister are abandoned in the vast and lonely landscape of the 19th century American West. Each day, they struggle to keep up the family farm, anxiously waiting for their parents to return. With nowhere to escape, the two siblings are about to discover that they are not entirely alone. As much as they try to deny the truth, something behind the attic door has awakened and they must now face their greatest fear. The Attic Door is the story of love, loss, loneliness, and the truth behind childhood fears.
Joining Dr. Staninger for this discussion will be Writer/Director Danny Daneau, Executive Producer Erica Harrell and Writer/Co-Producer Eric Ernst, with a focus on the process and struggles of making their film, and independently produced films in general. HOUR 1 AUDIO:
In the second hour, the discussion will turn to Chac Mool Natural Minerals and medicinal plants of Mesoamerica. Continuing the previous week’s discussion of the ancient Olmec tribes of Central Mexico, Dr. Staninger will be joined again by Michael Edward of the World Vision Portal to discuss the uses and benefits of the Chac Mool minerals. HOUR 2 AUDIO:
Just as in the Olmecs’ (the original salt traders of the Americas) time, Chac Mool Natural Minerals are mined from an ancient Mesoamerican seabed that contained no pollution, heat, humidity, radiation or any other toxic environmental factors. Chac Mool Natural Minerals have a wide variety of uses, from removing stains from clothing to seasoning food. Read the rest of this entry
1st Hour Guest: Rene’ Compton
“Computer Puppets Go to the Head of the Class”
The “Shark Tank” TV show missed a good one. Last September, Rene’ Compton of Orlando, Florida, sent in an audition tape and made it through the first round but then was cut. She could have shown them a thing or two: How she has Kindergartners already typing in public and private Florida schools and Preschoolers asking Grandpa how much RAM he has on his home computer.
Compton takes her cues from Sesame Street by using her Computer Puppets to teach young children how to use the computer. “If I do this in a fun, interactive way, then frustration could be eliminated. Kids are easier to teach than adults because I took away the fear of the unknown. When Sesame Street first came out, a lot of people couldn’t read. Many adults learned to read with it.”
Compton heads up Compton Learning Co, Inc., ( www.computerpuppets.com ) with her learning program for kids from Kindergarten through Fifth Graders using puppets via a professional teaching video in four parts.
Part Four is about Internet safety , and it features the Byte family. There is even a surprise guest portraying Megabyte, the Mom. It’s none other than Dr.Hildy voicing Megabyte. “It’s just a fun way for the kids to learn – and, of course, the adults, also,” says Compton, whose fertile imagination has created 24 individual puppets.
