ASOKA or ASHOKA: A Name that Ends in the Word PEACE
From the Desk of Dr. Hildy® ©November 13, 2019
On October 26, 2001 an epic movie was the winner of 14 International Film Awards. It was a biopic film based on the life of ASOKA: the Great set before his rise to power. A young Prince Asoka (Shahrukh Khan) works to perfect his skills in battle and also deals with family conflict. During a struggle with one of his step-brothers, his mother (Subhashini) urges Asoka to escape to stay alive. While away, Asoka meets Kaurwaki (Kareena Kapoor) and falls in love but must use his skills as a warrior to protect her. A dangerous and heartbreaking web of conspiracy follows, which leads Asoka to embrace a Buddhist path.
The film itself will be remembered through the film industry as the greatest tribute to the reflection of an Emperor of India that portrayed his story through one’s heart.
If you watch this film even to this day, it will move you to a right path, as your heart will experience the heartache, joy, triumph, tragedy and inner re-birth through PEACE. The powerful performances of the actors and actresses as well as the supporting cast members of the film will always carry forward the memory of ASOKA in one’s mind. The characters in the film illustrate the courage and strength of power through the most beautiful tribute of color, song, dance, music and cultural historical events that lived over 2,281 years ago, since the Great Kalinga War ended in 262 B.C. Even Asoka would be proud of it.
In The Outline of History, H.G. Wells wrote, “Amidst the tens of thousands of names of monarchs that crowd the columns of history, their majesties and graciousnesses and serenities and royal highnesses and the like, the name of Ashoka shines, and shines, almost alone, a star.”
And when one thinks of the Star of Bethlehem and the Story of the Three Kings as they visited the little baby, Jesus (the Christ) in the manger, one will think of its brightness as a reflection of Asoka shinning his light down on the baby to light the path to peace for all the world to see.
Shepherds, villagers and all saw this light in the heavens, a star that shown its magnificent rays to guide the Three Magi, Balthazar of Arabia, Melchior of Persia and Gaspar of India. These Magi were not only Kings from their distant lands, but were scholars of the ancient arts and sciences of nature, medicine and astrology. And hopefully, as they looked upon the baby Jesus, one would like to think that the Magi – Gaspar of India – shared the story of one of India’s greatest Emperor, ASOKA who unified all of India (except for its southern tip) as he made his journey on Life’s Path toward PEACE – opening the door for the Christ Light to shine throughout the Earth.
The name Asoka or even as it is spelled, Ashoka, will only lead each of us to the works of a great king, who raised arms in the Great Kalinga War that ended in 262 BC. He was the only king of a nation that would not pick up the sword against another nation after this war, which was known throughout his kingdom as the War that turned the rivers red with blood.
The Kalinga War was fought in what is now India, between the Maurya Empire under Asoka and King of Raja Anantha of the state of Kalinga, an independent feudal kingdom located on the east coast, in the present-day state of Odisha and north of Andhra Pradesh. The war was a brutal war with many dead (100,000 +) or maimed, and the soldiers of Kalinga became slaves. Its devastating effect rocked the souls of everyone who fought in it as well as lived through its aftermath as its memory may be still felt on many ancestors’ DNA to this day.
The War’s destruction of the humanity in Kalinga left King Asoka with a deep sorrow and only one desire within his heart for PEACE throughout his Empire and neighboring territories to be upheld forever more. He was raised as a Brahmin from birth, who became a Buddhist after the Great War of Kalinga. He ruled the rest of his life in peace until the day he took his last breath.
Throughout his reign of 40 years, he built temples, monasteries and the famous Edicts of Ashoka, which are a collection of 33 inscriptions on the Pillars of Ashoka, as well as boulders and cave walls, made by Ashoka during his reign. These inscriptions are dispersed throughout modern-day Pakistan and India and represent the first tangible evidence of Buddhism.
The edicts describe in detail the first wide expansion of Buddhism through the sponsorship of one of the most powerful kings of Indian history, offering more information about Asoka’s proselytism, moral precepts, religious precepts, and his notions of social and animal welfare reaching as far as Thailand and Sri Lanka.

Toward the end of Asoka’s life his grandson was chosen to be his heir to the Maurya Empire’s Throne. Asoka, knowing he would no longer be the “King of Earth,” he asked a Buddhist Monk who visited him for his last blessing. Asoka, no longer having any money to donate from the Royal Treasury of his kingdom, he took a myrobalan berry (Indian gooseberry) that he was eating and gave half of it to the Monk, saying this: “I give you this myrobalan as my last possession I have to give, bless it and know that this symbolizes that I may rule as the Sovereign of the Mind.” The Monk took the myrobalan to the temple and the other monks made a soup of it and shared its broth between them so the blessing would blossom to humanity just as the lotus flower. The following day Asoka passed away during his sleep. His body was cremated and burned for seven days.
Keep in mind that each one of us is born into this world with nothing but our bodies, mind and good health. Through prayer and the wish of blessings from others allow for God to shine his light in each one of our hearts.
It is everyone’s own journey of life which will have two paths on it. The choice is yours to pick the right path (dharma) through the examples you were taught by your parents, grandparents and the people who mentored you along your journey or to return of the cycle of life (karma) learning what you did not learn the first time on this Earth. All these acts are of guidance and respect from our ancient ancestors leading each one of us to a world of PEACE for All of Humanity to share. We are to live in harmony, being as gentle as a lamb on this beautiful jewel of a planet, Earth, within the folds of the Milky Way, home to numerous stars as seen above and below.
What You Need to Know About Ganesh: Remover of Obstacles
DEFINITION, PURPOSE and EVOLUTION OF THE “SOUL” or “SPIRIT”- The SOUL/SPIRIT CREATION: Our Creating Consciousness or “God” is shaped much like an OBLATE SPHEROID which is a type of three-dimensional shape with an oblong, round shape, like a squashed circle. Unlike an egg (asymmetrical), it is symmetrical, i.e., evenly weighted/spaced at both ends that results in an oblate spheroid. Skittles or M&M’s candies are everyday examples of oblate spheroids. They basically look like squashed spheres. This oblate spheroid or oval/spiral shape is a recurring shape/theme in our Universe with the existence of giant spiral galaxies like the Andromeda and Milky Way Galaxies.

Dr. Hildy®- #3 – ‘Spooky’ – with Screenwriter Eric Ernst – HISTORY OF HALLOWEEN

ONE HOUR AUDIO:
Over the last few decades, Halloween has grown from a night centered around children trick or treating, to a multi-billion dollar industry. Costumes, décor, parties, haunted house events – all have made the Halloween season the unofficial kickoff to the end-of-year holidays. But like most traditions, its original meaning has been lost throughout the years.
This week on One Cell One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy hosts a discussion on the origins of Halloween with Screenwriter, Eric Ernst. Today’s Halloween customs are thought to have been influenced by folk customs and beliefs from the Celtic-speaking countries, some of which have pagan roots, and others that may be rooted in Celtic Christianity.
Samhain was the first and most important of the four quarter-days in the medieval Gaelic calendar and was celebrated in Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man on or about October 31 and kindred festivals were held at the same time of year by the Brittonic Celts.
Samhain marked the end of the harvest season and beginning of winter or the ‘darker half’ of the year. It was seen as a liminal time, when the spirits or fairies (the Aos Sí) could more easily come into our world and were particularly active. At Samhain, it was believed that the Aos Sí needed to be propitiated to ensure that the people and their livestock survived the winter. Offerings of food and drink were left for the Aos Sí and the souls of the dead were also said to revisit their homes. Places were set at the dinner table or by the fire to welcome them. In 19th century Ireland, candles would be lit and prayers formally offered for the souls of the dead. After this the eating, drinking, and games would begin. The household festivities included rituals and games intended to divine one’s future, especially regarding death and marriage.
Today’s Halloween customs are also influenced by Christian dogma and practices derived from it. Halloween falls on the evening before the Christian holy day of All Hallows’ Day, thus giving the holiday the full name of All Hallows’ Eve. But it was not until the mass Irish and Scottish immigration during the 19th century that it was brought to North America. Confined to the immigrant communities during the mid-19th century, it was gradually assimilated into mainstream society and by the first decade of the 20th century it was being celebrated coast to coast by people of all social, racial and religious backgrounds.
As for the many traditions of Halloween, in Ireland and Scotland, the turnip has traditionally been carved during Halloween, but immigrants to North America used the native pumpkin, which is both much softer and much larger – making it easier to carve than a turnip. In Scotland and Ireland, guising – children disguised in costume going from door to door for food or coins – is a traditional Halloween custom, and is recorded in Scotland at Halloween in 1895 where masqueraders in disguise carrying lanterns made out of scooped out turnips, visit homes to be rewarded with cakes, fruit and money.
Halloween costumes are traditionally modeled after supernatural figures such as vampires, monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils. In Hallowed Be Thy Name, a religious perspective to the wearing of costumes is offered:”By dressing up in costumes and portraying frightening creatures, who at one time caused us to fear and tremble, we. . . are poking fun at the serpent whose head has been crushed by our Savior.” Furthermore, in the Christian tradition, “images of skeletons, ghosts, graveyard scenes, nighttime creatures such as bats are traditional decorations. Over time, in the United States the costume selection extended to include popular characters from fiction, celebrities, and generic archetypes such as ninjas and princesses.

“I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me.”
Though he is perhaps most famous to western audiences as Chirrut Îmwe, a Rebel spy in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Donnie Yen has had a long and prosperous career in cinema, spanning more than three decades. This week on One Cell, One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy and guest Veronica Hendricks will discuss Yen’s career, his use of varied martial arts styles, and what lies in Yen’s future.
Born in Guangzhou, China in 1963, Donnie Yen is the son of a kung fu master and a newspaper editor. When he was eleven, his family moved to Boston. Here he learned a great love of music as well as learning martial arts from his mother, a pioneer for Chinese martial arts in America. In time, he became a serious practitioner of modern Wu Shu, and his parents decided to send him to Beijing to train at the Chinese capital’s famed Wu Shu academy. It was when Yen returned to Hong Kong en route back to Boston that he met the famed martial arts movie director Yuen Woo-ping.
Donnie Yen exploded onto the Hong Kong movie scene when he was cast in the lead role of director Yuen Woo-ping’s Drunken Tai Chi. His debut film immediately established him as a viable leading man, and Yen has remained a major figure in Chinese action cinema to this day.
Yen’s career blossomed, including roles in over 70 movies and tv shows, including 1993’s Iron Monkey, Yimou Zhang’s 2002 masterpiece Hero, and the Ip Man series, of which a 4th movie is filming right now. He has also been in many American movies, such as the aforementioned Rogue One, Blade II, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, and a live-action remake of Disney’s Mulan, scheduled for release in 2020, which will also star Jet Li.

Best places to see cherry blossoms in Japan
As spring approaches, the entire nation turns a shade of pink. Months before they arrive, retailers switch into sakura mode – supermarkets filled with plastic cherry blossom flowers and cherry blossom-flavored foods and beverages. The beautiful trees are a common subject of artists and painters, and are a source of great pride for the island nation.
When the blooms arrive (as confirmed by teams of meticulous cherry blossom officials), it is time to indulge in one of the nation’s all-time favourite pastimes – hanami, which literally translates as “looking as flowers” and refers to flower appreciation picnics under the blooms.
But the cherry blossoms aren’t all Japan is prideful about. There are also the moves of Takeshi Kaneshiro, one of Japan’s most popular actors. Despite being effortlessly good-looking, he chooses to strike a sometimes uneasy balance between the commercially pleasing and the quirky in his choice of film roles. Takeshi, sometimes called the Japanese Johnny Depp, has appeared in more than 50 films, though American audiences would know him best from his role as “Jin” in director Yimou Zhang’s (Hero, Raise the Red Lantern) 2004 film House of Flying Daggers. Kaneshiro is also an accomplished singer, having released 9 albums in Japan in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Early life – Takeshi Kaneshiro
Takeshi Kaneshiro’s mother is Taiwanese and his father is from Okinawa, Japan.[1][2]He was born and raised in Taipei but also holds Japanese citizenship.[3][4]
The son of a Japanese businessman and a Taiwanese homemaker,[5] he has two elder brothers; one is his senior by seven years, the other just by one.[6] After graduating from Taipei Japanese Junior High School, he enrolled at English-based Taipei American School, which enabled him to converse in English. While he was studying there, he began doing television commercials and decided to quit school to pursue a singing and acting career. He is multilingual, fluent in Mandarin, Chinese Hokkien, Japanese, and to lesser degrees in Cantonese and English.

FATIMA – ASTONISHING DOCUMENTARY – YouTube
It’s that time of year once again – when people of all faiths hold their winter celebrations. Naturally, in the US, Christmas is celebrated far and wide, and despite its religious origins, has evolved into an equally secular holiday while still encompassing the spirit of giving and love that Mary and the Christ child inspired.
This week on One Cell, One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy welcomes guests Diana Kajitori, Veronica Hendricks, Rev. Kathleen O’Toole, Dawn Wood, and Rev. Robin Dearing to discuss the history of the Virgin Mary appearing throughout the world in many forms.
In Portugal, in 1917, perhaps the most famous Mary sighting occurred. Known as the Lady of Fatima, the incident centers around three children who reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary, who the children described as “the Lady more brilliant than the Sun”. The children reported a prophecy that prayer would lead to an end to the Great War, and that on October 13th the Lady would reveal her identity and perform a miracle “so that all may believe.” The sightings continued throughout the summer, and on October 13th, a huge crowd, possibly between 30,000 and 100,000, gathered. What happened then became known as the “Miracle of the Sun”.
The three children reported seeing a panorama of visions during the event. According to accounts, after a period of rain, the dark clouds broke and the sun appeared as an opaque, spinning disc in the sky. It was said to be significantly duller than normal, and to cast multicolored lights across the landscape, the people, and the surrounding clouds. The sun was then reported to have careened towards the earth before zig-zagging back to its normal position. Witnesses reported that their previously wet clothes became “suddenly and completely dry, as well as the wet and muddy ground that had been previously soaked because of the rain that had been falling”.
While this event may be the most famous, there are many other instances of people seeing visions of the Virgin Mary. With Christmas soon approaching, it seems only fitting to discuss Mary’s appearances on Earth. After all, the Immaculate Conception is the reason for the season!

Our Lady of Fatima © One Cell One Light® Radio
by Dr. Hildy®
Friday, October 13, 2017 will be the 100th year Anniversary since the Lady of Fatima made her presence on earth. In celebration of this event and others were the Blessed Virgin Mary showed herself to others on this earth over the centuries of time, which I will be sharing some points with you to reflect upon about our Queen of Heaven.
The year 2017 is the year a beautiful book and DVD set entitled the Queen of Heaven: Mary’s Battle for Souls by Brian Kennelly and Rick Rotondi, St. Benedict Press, Charlotte, NC © 2017 was published. This book brings forth the story of history’s most famous woman, hailed millions of times daily in prayer that bears her name. Those who come to her at their hour of need are welcomed with a mother’s love, compassion and care. She is gentleness itself to all who turn to her, save one: to Lucifer, the devil, she is an implacable foe. She is the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven and the one envisioned by God throughout all of eternity to give birth to the Christ, his flesh upon the Earth. She is the one that all of creation held their breath to hear her response, which was “fiat,” meaning “let it be.”
The Queen of Heaven is the story of their enmity, the battle between an angel who said “no” to God, and the handmaiden who said “yes.” It is a spiritual battle that began at the dawn of time, and has inspired the spiritual essence of many a battle upon this earth throughout history to the current day.
WAR IN HEAVEN
God existed eternally, before any of his creations. His existence was not a solitary one, for there was the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, living in a communion of indescribable Love. This love did not need to be shared outside of the Holy Trinity, but God willed it so.
God’s first creations were the angels. God created them to be good, but just as he would do with us he gave the angels free will. Only free creatures can truly love; a conditional love is no love at all for it is compulsory. God created an everlasting multitude of angelic hosts. And some of them abused their free will, rebelled against God, and in so doing became devils.
The name of Lucifer, which means “Day Star” is the name taken from Isaiah for Lucifer.
How you are fallen from heaven,
O Day Star, son of Dawn!
How you cut down to the ground,
You who laid the nations low!
You said in your heart,
“I will ascend to heaven;
Above the stars of God
I will set my throne on high;
I will sit on the mount assembly
In the far north;
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will make myself like the Most High.”
(Is. 14: 12- 14)
Mary, the Queen of Heaven and Lucifer were in eniminity. And just as the word enmity means deep-seated, often a mutual hatred, Mary’s Battle for Your Soul began. The hatred was like a repulsion, which can be simply described as the feeling one gets when the same polarities of a magnet repel against each other. They can never be together unless there is a turning point where they become one again – as the original whole of creation the birth of PEACE on Earth as well as in Heaven.
To understand Lucifer’s origins and his revolt at the dawn of creation, we can better understand Our Lady – Mary and the role she plays in the final battle for souls.
In the Song of Solomon 6:10 – an Antiphon of the Legion of Mary the following is written:
Who is she
that comes forth as
the morning rising,
fair as the moon,
bright as the sun,
terrible as an army
set in battle array?
The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Heaven wears a crown made of 12 stars – the remnant of the 12 supernovas of the cosmos representing the beginning of creation as well as the reflection of the 12 tribes of Israel. She was Christ’s first disciple and experienced seven sorrows to her heart as foretold to her by Simeon in the temple as she presented her son Jesus. And it was at the cross where her only begotten son died for all of Humanity that the wood of the cross would be like a remnant of the Tree of Life at the Garden of Eden. Where it was that Eve and Adam fell from grace through original sin.
Mary’s heart would be pierced by a sword as well as being the one who interceded for Eve – the Mother of All Living by the prayers of Adam and Eve as well as those of Abraham, all their ancestors and all of their tears.
The Queen of Heaven has been seen three times on earth as she interceded for Humanity in its darkest hours. The appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary each time became the turning point for the purification of creation as well as during the battle for all souls, even for the ones in hell, who may only be saved by our prayers and sacrifices.
The First Time she was seen on earth was by an Aztec peasant who thought himself unworthy of her choosing him to request a church be built in her name – Guadalupe. Juan Diego who accepted Christ in his heart 6 years prior was of Aztec heritage but loved God with all his heart. He lost his wife Maria 3 years before and then his uncle became ill.
The Blessed Virgin Mary interceded for the Aztec Indians and the battle between the conquistadors in 1510. She performed miracles but the one that the Americans remember is the Castilian roses that Juan Diego picked as he placed them in his tilma and the Virgin Mary made them into a bouquet for the Bishop Zumarraga. When Juan Diego went before the Bishop he opened his tilma and the roses fell to the ground. The Bishop feel to his knees with the other priest saying, “this is a miracle – I prayed for a sign from the Blessed Virgin Mary and she brought me the sign – Castilian roses as only grown in Spain.” And just as Juan Diego’s last rose fell to the floor an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared on his tilma. The Lady said her name was Guadalupe and she became known as the Lady of Guadalupe – Patroness of the Americas. In 1510 at the time of this miracle over 1.2 million Aztec Indians accepted the Christ at that time, the largest conversion of all time so far since the death of Jesus – the Christ 2,000 years ago.
The Second Time was on February 11, 1858, when a fourteen-year-old girl, Bernadette, at a rocky crag at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains, known as Massabielle. She saw a beautiful lady, as her sister and friend were gathering fire wood. The Lady told Bernadette that her name was the Immaculate Conception.
At the place where the Virgin Mary placed her feet that had roses beneath them, she told Bernadette to dig with her hands in the dirt. Bernadette dug and ate of the mud and after doing as Mary requested a spring bubbled up and its waters came forth. This spring is known for its healing waters throughout the world.
The Spring of Lourdes, for the ones who believe within all their heart, has had their bodies of disease and inflictions cured. Many witnesses have seen these miraculous cures during that time and to our present time. The beautiful Lady came to the people of France to intercede for the prayers and tears of so many souls, as well as warn of wars to come (World War I and II).
Saint Bernadette’s First Vision at Lourdes | History Today
The Third Time the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared was to three small children in Fatima, Portugal where the miracle of the dancing Sun occurred on October 13, 1917 – a hundred years ago with 75,000 witnesses among the three children who saw the Blessed Virgin Mary in all her images.
In the book, The World’s First Love by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (Ignatius Press © 2015 in chapter 17, “Mary and the Moslems”). The Archbishop devotes an entire chapter to the premise that Mary will be the means by which the Muslims come to Christ.
The Archbishop Sheen begins by noting, as many have before, Muslims have a great respect for Mary, believing in her immaculate conception and the virgin birth. Sheen also points out that the Qur’an has verses on the Annunciation, Visitation, and Nativity. One passage has angels telling her, “Oh Mary, God has chosen you and purified you, and elected you above all of the women of the earth” (3:42).
Sheen brings out that the only possible rival to Mary in Islam, is Muhammad’s daughter, Fatima, whom he obviously loved dearly. Yet even still Muhammad wrote of Fatima, “Thou shall be the most blessed of all the women in Paradise, after Mary.”
The Archbishop Sheen continues, “since nothing ever happens out of Heaven except with a finesse of all details, I believe that the blessed Virgin chose to be known as “Our Lady of Fatima” as a pledge and sign of hope to the Moslem people and as an assurance that they, who show her so much respect, will one day accept her Divine Son, too.” He goes on to point out that the town of Fatima in Portugal inherited its name from the daughter of a Muslim chief, who after her father and his people were driven out, stayed behind and fell in love with a Catholic boy, This young man eventually named the area after her. “Thus, the very place where Our Lady appeared in 1917 bears a historical connection to Fatima the daughter of Muhammad.”
No matter whom the soul is on this earth, if they accept the Virgin Birth, there is a seed of theology that can be watered with our prayer and soon Our Lady will bring her Son to them. And once in the hands of Christ Jesus, surely he will harness their passion and commitment and use it for good, just as he did with St. Paul, who once also persecuted the Christians.

The following prayers and items of interest are used to call upon the Blessed Virgin Mary in one’s deepest hour of need.
HAIL MARY
The Angelic Salutation
HAIL MARY, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art though among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GUDALUPE
Our Lady of Guadalupe was proclaimed “Patroness of Mexico” and “Empress of the Americas” by Pope Pius XII in 1945. In 1946 Pope Pius XII proclaimed her “Patroness of the Americas.” In 1999, Pope John Paul II declared that December 12, the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe would be liturgical feast for the whole continent.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is also venerated as the “Patroness of the Unborn.”
HOLY MARY of Guadalupe, Mystical Rose, intercede for Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke you in their necessities; and since you are the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the True God, obtain for us from your most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of the bitterness of life, burning charity, and the precious gift of final perseverance. Amen.
PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF LOURDES
This prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes draws us closer to Mary and helps us remember the amazing story of what took place in France so many years ago. Think of a special need or request as you invoke her intercession.
BLESSED, most pure Virgin, you chose to manifest yourself shining with life, sweetness and beauty in the grotto of Lourdes.
To the child St. Bernadette, you revealed yourself, saying, “I am the Immaculate Conception.”
And now, Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy, Healer of the Sick, Comforter of the Afflicted, you know my wants, my troubles, mu sufferings. Look upon me with mercy.
Because of your appearance in the Grotto of Lourdes, it became a privileged sanctuary from which you dispense your favors. Many have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. I come, therefore, with confidence in your maternal intercession. Obtain for me, O loving Mother, this special request.
Our Lady of Lourdes, Mother of Christ, pray for me. Obtain from your divine Son my special request if it be God’s will. Amen.
PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF FATIMA
This prayer to Our Lady of Fatima draws us closer to Mary and helps us remember the amazing story of what took place in Portugal so many years ago. Think of a special need or request as you invoke her intercession.
O MOST Holy Virgin Mary, Queen of the most holy Rosary, you were pleased to appear to the children of Fatima and reveal a glorious message.
We implore you; inspire in our hearts a fervent love for the recitation of the Rosary.
By meditating on the mysteries of the redemption that are recalled therein may we obtain the graces and virtues that we ask, through the merits of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen
The Women Clothed with the Sun
Apocalypse 12:1
“AND A great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”
Words of Our Lady of Lourdes to St. Bernadette (1859)
“I AM the Immaculate Conception.”
“Pray for poor sinners!”
“Penance!”
Words of Our Lady of Fatima on Saving Souls
“PRAY! Pray a great deal, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell because there is no one to pray and make sacrifices for them.” (August 19, 1917).
SACRIFICE PRAYER
Our Lady of Fatima said to the children; “Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially whenever you make some sacrifice.”
JESUS, I offer this for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
