It’s Back-to-School week for most and this week on One Cell One Light Radio, joined by Shoshanna, Dr. Hildy™ educates us on an often-overlooked indicator of our health – our fingernails! – before we switch classes and discuss how to avoid inflammation in the body using natural foods and means.The practice of studying fingernails as an indicator of health began over 3,000 years ago, as Chinese physicians studied their patients’ fingernails for telltale signs of illness. Thousands of years later, American country doctors, tending to their patients in small towns and farm villages, routinely checked patients’ eyes, the surface of the tongue, and the appearance of the fingernails.
